[N/QN] General • UE65NU8000 series - available bluetooth audio codecs

Hi,
Do you have any knowledge what codecs does the samsung TV support for bluetooth audio? I connect FiiO BTR3 to it hoping that it would support apt-x LL (to avoid lip-sync delays in movies and games) but it indicates it only uses SBC codec (with a noticeable lag). Is it possible to force apt-x (LL / HD) for the connection? Maybe in the service menu? I don't believe the bluetooth hardware in the tv is not capable of that...

Help me find the TDM code for the F and H series. 20089999 not true. I can’t enter the TDM with 20089999.
If you managed to enter TDM with code 20089999, tell us how to make it.
I can’t enter the service menu using the remote control, some parameters got lost and the TV became a brick, but RS232 was turned on DEBUG and I can enter through it but the code 20089999 is not perceived.

hello, it´s an old thread, I know...

In my case...Tried to Import channellist, but due to "country infos" without luck.

Than exported a channellist, opened it with winrar and copied the "Digital_Country" Value from the metadata.xml file to the one in the the import-channel.zip file.
Success.

Hi!

I have this LED in for repair with flashing standby LED. It cycles 2-2-2-2-2-steady ... rhythm. Any body has some info regarding this fault, Ideally I would be grateful for a service manual for this or very similar model.

Hey there, first post here ...

I really am enjoying finding all this as I've been expecting some customization since day one with my UE55H6410 !
I desperately am looking for a way to wake the tv by any means thru LAN or a working app but with no luck.

Now I see there's a SoftPowerOff function coming with some custom firmware.

Do you think this could solve my issue ?

Currently I have no choice but to grab the remote and push the power button to have the TV wake up.
HDMI from my Pionner Amp won't wake the TV either.

Thanks a lot in advance to anyone who will take some time to read and help.

Hi there. So I've been checking this community for a while now, considering to root my H6400. I've disabled OTN and blocked updates urls in my router but since even experienced users like zoelechat say that there's always the chance something goes wrong during the rooting process = bricked TV and AFAIK there's not such a thing as a log with apps / benefits of a rooted TV, I'd like to ask whether it is possible to do the following things. Those are the things that matter to me the most when it comes to the TV capabilities/limitations (along with FLAC support and maybe a way to sync audio/video but these aren't that important/prolly impossible), so if they aren't possible with SamyGO maybe I shouldn't mess with my TV in the first place.

1. At some point (probably after an app update) Youtube was crippled because a). It stopped supporting 1080p b). Clicking anywhere in the progress bar with the Smart Touch Remote Control used to take you to that very point in time - that stopped working too. Does SamyGO rectify those issues by installing an updated/alternative Youtube version or some other way? Is there someone with a root TV who can confirm there's a workaround for these?

2. The TV supports HEVC but not HEVC 10 bit. Is that possible with SamyGO?

Hey Everyone,

I have an UE40F6200, "bt support" and "bt_audio_on_off" both enabled but "bt address" shows no MAC address. Maybe this model has no built-in BT device?

I've found my answer here: http://forum.samygo.tv/download/file.php?id=1778 that F6200 series has no BT HID module. Is it possible to use an external USB module to enable BT funcionality?

Can any one guide to connect one connect box from js9000 to f9000 series?
My f9000 tv is restarting with js9000 box with message: "This box is no for your tv. please use evolution kit..."
I changed in service menu display to: 65A1UUZL and tv model to: F9000, and tv still restarting.
What I must do in service menu?
After the changes in the service menu, it was necessary to create a backup for upgrating in the TV settings. Without this, the new unit cannot receive the new settings.

[F] Support • Latest Netflix app for F6400

I have a problem with my F6400 and Netflix. There are sound dropouts when using 5.1 sound. I took the soundbar to a friend that has a MU6500 and it worked fine. Did some extensive troubleshooting as well (factory reset, multiple settings...).

I suspect the Netflix app version is the culprit as mine is way older (from 2016) than my friends and cannot update to a higher version as it seems my for my TV that is the latest.

Is there a way to get from somewhere the latest Netflix app version and force its installation on the TV? It might not work at all but I least I wanted to try that.

In very first post, there is a link to other firmwares for tv, to upgrade the, form 0000, the problem is I can’t open it, it says that I am not authorized to see that forum.

Hi Roberto. I think bad, really bad situation. You can try eeprom reset procedure (described on wiki) and pray it could help. Otherwise flash SoC eeprom with dump of working same model tv. If this does not help, then main board replacement.

As you do not know of model/type was set correctly before you started to change service menu options, then advice is first to ask for service menu default values from another users with same tv model and then compare it to yours. This not necessary will solve your tv runner issue. Sometimes SM settings are weird even on well operating TV's.

Transfer channels option was removed from your tv model at software level. I wonder why Samsung did such modifications but this is reality. They only know why.

If you can press any other rc buttons and tv responds, then why don't you flash firmware once again? It might solve your problem.
