[H] Firmware • Can I downgrade my TV safely?

I have a 40 inches H6670 Smart TV upgraded to the latest firmware on the Samsung website, that is, T-MST14DEUC v2890.2. The auto update in the Smart TV said the v2880 was the latest firmware before upgrading via USB.
I noticed that the guide here for downgrading is from three years ago and the v2890 update is from last year, so I was wondering if I can still downgrade down to v0000 for rooting it or it would brick.

I have 2014 UE65H8000ST that has had 2 new mainboards fitted to stop the 1080i to 1080p changeover flicker ,as soon as the firmware updates to 1400.1 the flicker comes back , Samsung say its noting to do with the firmware and keep throwing new main boards at it .
I have T-GFPDEUC_0000 on a usb , and T-GFPDEUC_1240.3 downloaded ready ,
I have entered these url's msecnd.net,samsungotn.net,www.samsungotn.net & test.samsungotn.net in my router content filtering and pinged to check blocking ,
Am I right in thinking that I usb the firmware to 0000 then repeat with 1240.3 ,when on 1240.3 I can enter the service menu and switch off OTN
as long as I stay on the 1240.3 firmware with OTN disabled I will be good .if I wanted to try another firmware I can up to 1290 but 1st have to put 0000 in then disable OTN again .

Also is there a better firmware version than 1240.3 for my tv that anyone can suggest

hello friends
My problem is that the power was turned off during the firmware of my TV and now it freezes when I press the power button it can only be turned off by pulling out the power plug. Maybe someone has encountered this problem and can help me fix it? TV ue32f5500

I have a 2018 Samsung tv model QE65Q7FNATXXH and the ethernet speed is 10/100
I would like to know if it possible to upgrade the inner ethernet card through service menu so it become gigabit (10/100/1000)
if its not possible that then is it faster to stream through wifi or 10/100 ethernet is the same or better?

Hello

I bought a ueQ7fnatxxc 1 1/2 month ago, because it had 2x: dvb-s/s2 dvb-t/t3 and dvb-c..
Ahaaa all tuners and even two of them.
That + the one-Connect box made me go from Sony to Samsung.

In the store I was told it was possible of course to scan dvb-s/s2 and dvb-t/t2 an mix them in fav. lists.
I had at that time only satellite TV,I gave up my pay-tv channels and installed an arial antenna last week, so I can see danish national TV stations that are free in dvb-t2. (Denmark)

BUT... How to scan ? When I try to scan dvb-t all dvb-s channels are deleted, and vice versa.

The store don't know, ( they obviously changed their mind, and have never said any about it), Samsung support say it is possible, but when I ask for instructions on how to do it, they don't t know and are waiting for information from Samsung in Korea..

One other thing is it doesn't have Android which also means there is no app to stream the before mentioned channels..

Anyone that have any other solutions to this, than dump it and buy a Sony, Philips or LG. I can see on YouTube that those brands can do a scan for several dvb's... and also mix them in favorites.

Extra boxes are not a solution, I wanted a one box solution... And one remote..

I sure do hope there is a solution..

I have the horrendous flash/flicker when freeview HD changes from 1080p to 1080i and vice versa. Funny enough we only noticed it when the firmware updated to 1400 last year .After months of rubbish from Samsung support I used the resources from here to downgrade to 0000 and have tried versions,1240 ,1290,1320 and the most recent 1400 all give the same result .1230 refused to load so couldn't try that .
I wonder if some one could take a paypal gift from me and donate with BTC on my behalf to access other versions of firmware to try .
I have successfully blocked updates at my router .I don't want root I just want to stop the dam flickering surely theres a firmware that's good for it .

I have NU Series "UA43NU7100" and it's missing Transfer Channel List.
I have used service mode to enable hidden features like HDR+ (which is horrible btw) but I could not find an option in service menu to show or enable Transfer Channel List. It's very frustrating to auto tune every couple months to add/remove obsolete and new channels then spend long hours to set hundreds of channels and sort them in favorites. Any help with this?

What would be other useful features to enable for this model? I enabled QUHD and TV starts with QLED logo now!

Hello there Guys,
My tv is an ue46es8000. i did the wrong thing and update. but since i did i have lost wifi, my channels are lost every time i switch off and my smarthub just shows starting then does nothing, i also noticed i could not rename the tv under device name.
i have down what i can folling guides from here to downgrade the firmware. i have now got 2014.2 but i still have the same problems. is there something simple that i have not done.

also i contacted samsung about this and was told that this has happened because the update was not done sequentially. meaning that a few updates were missed when the tv was not connected to the web. so i tried to update the software by downloading the firmwares and applying them in order but have had no success. if any body can help please....

Hi,
I have a samsung ue55h6410 tv. I had some tuner problem. I cant find all dvb-t channels. Then I saw that I can only choose Ostereich, Germany och Schweiz in the country section. So I thought this was the problem. I found how to change the region in the service menu and now I can choose Sweden as a country on the tv. The same tuner problem exist. I get 0% signal strength on certain frequences. But after I changed the region in service menu a now problem occured. When I check on about tv information there is wrong model nr. Its the wrong model type in the service menu aswell. And I cant find the correct model type in the service menu either. I tryed to change to another model type and then the picture went upside down on the tv. I managed to get it back in correct order but I still have wrong model type....

Anyone nows how to fix this? Do I need to change anything under tuner in the service menu to fic my tuner problem?

Help me find the TDM code for the F and H series. 20089999 not true. I can’t enter the TDM with 20089999.
If you managed to enter TDM with code 20089999, tell us how to make it.
I can’t enter the service menu using the remote control, some parameters got lost and the TV became a brick, but RS232 was turned on DEBUG and I can enter through it but the code is not perceived.
