[D] General • UE40D5500 Boot loop problem. Please help fix.

Hi,

Suddenly my UE40D5500 stuck in the last channel I had seen and displayed nothing. I powered off and on and still nothing. So i did an Epprom Reset on te board and now I have stuck in a boot loop, in which as soon as I put my TV on the main power line the TV switch on automatically, and displays for 2 seconds the logo Samsung Smart TV, then black screen and after 10 seconds this is repeated.

I have also constructed the VGA link cable to serial and in my console I see the following messages:
Switch to Earphone UART
SEC

Switch to Micom UART

auth success by h/w sha1 UART1 is used to UART or logic mode.


I have tried many times to do EPPROM reset but nothing happens. I have left the TV for many hours, nothing changed. i have removed the power for 1 week, nothing changed.

I am attaching pictures of the mainboard.


what should I do?

Thank you very very much in advance. Please give me a tip...I know a bit about electronics as a hobby so be free to give even advanced technical details.

I use google translate :-)

UE32EH5000W Firmware /original samsung/ : ver.001028

I enter the channel menu and press export to usb and there is an error.

The USB is OK. Movies, pictures, and music are playing.
I could also update the software.
(I tried several partitions. Does not work.)
(I've made a factory reset.Does not work.)

I can never convert it to 1201.
So I can't make my own list.

What is the solution ??



Maybe someone could send a compatible list of 1201.

Is there a way to playback the DVD content stored on a harddisk the same way like from a connected DVD-Player?

I can play the single .VOB files one by one but prefer continuesly playing them and would also have menu funktion ...

H-series TV is rootet.

Hi, everybody. I have fw on my TV T-N14MJDEUC-1129.1 and at samsung site have no update. Can I change my fw to T-HKMFDEUC-1412.1?
I found only 0000.0 for n14mj.
Want to upgrade, because waiting for a 2-3 minutes after start before applications will work.

İt says ‘please go in to service mode and setup belpw options - type local set front colur options

Some how i opned service mode but couldnt find how to do it.

Hello

The root worked good from more one year but today my TV rebooted every 2-3 minutes.
To stop that i was need to delete files or folder:
/mtd_rwcommon/emps/empBrowserCommonPlugin/plugins/libSamyGorun.so
/mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO
/mnt/rcSGO
and i unplug my usb device and the tv didn't reboot.

I install back the root from the begining but the problem start again the reboot every 2-3 minutes.
I have enought memory only 211Mb/1.42Gb used.
I tried to install with some others usb devices but it's the same thing, so now I deleled back the files/folder
/mtd_rwcommon/emps/empBrowserCommonPlugin/plugins/libSamyGorun.so
/mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO
/mnt/rcSGO
in the tv, but if i turn off the tv and plug a clean usb device (Fat32 or Ext4), start the tv and rebooting again all 2-3 minutes!

Maybe the root was not the problem, or i need to delete other files to stop booting the tv when i plug an usb device? I can say i view the SamyGo widget in Smart Hub but after a time i saw it no more, and when i plug an usb device and try to view the source that doesn't work and reboot the TV.

Hi,

Im new in these type of forums so I would like to explain myself first.

Well, I have 2 samsung TVs, UE32K5500AKXXC as said in the topic and UE37ES6100WXXC. I recorded a TV program from the UE32K5500AKXXC to an external drive. I tried to play it in my PC and it didnt work. I started searching and I found this forum with a lot of new things to me.
I think I need to root my TV and obtain the .key file for every recording (already done or a new recording that im going to do), then I need to use a tool like destroi or drmdecrypt to actually decrypt that .srf file and convert it to .ts (and then to mp4 or something) so it's playable in any other device.

So the question is, is it possible to root any of my TVs, obtain the key file and decrypt the srf so I can play those files in any other device? And of course, if its possible, could I have a "noob guide"?

i got used Samsung TV Q7F the problem is no mouse courser appear , when connect to USB , i tested keyboard and working , usb flash drive working , so no problem on USB ports, so whats the problem with mouse recognition , is there option on service menu to hide mouse , how to enabled it ???

I have the same issue. So, I rooted my tv 1 year ago, around that time frame, never did anything with it, it was just a fun thing to do at the time. I used the tv just for hdmi, so I never noticed anything, but recently I moved this TV to my room, so I want to use the smart features. But now there's a issue, there's no apps on my tv, no samsung store, no sammygo widget, just webbrowser. And when I click More Apps, it takes like 1 minute to unfreeze and there's just web browser again. I re-did the usb with samygo, no luck. I changed the region, no luck. When I enter the IP of the TV on my browser, it gives me "404 - Not Found". FTP at port 21 with no pw and user "root" gives me "ECONNREFUSED". Any idea on what's causing this?

Hi,

I'm currently having an issue with my F5500 for a while, and I am not sure how I could resolve it.

When I am looking at smarthub, I noticed that all my apps are gone, except for the webbrowser. I am not sure how I managed to accomplish that, but the TV has been rooted before.

Is there any way to fix this?

Hello!
Yesterday my ue40f8000 start with on/off without stopping so i went inside special menu i make factory reset but after rebooting it show a language i don't understand and hdmi don't work so i go back to special menu and i see that local set : none and sw model : non , and i can't fixe it because it is desabeled.
can some body help me please :)
