It is not possible rtmpgw. The rtmpgw no other use. Enables streaming RTMP source.

I actually didn't know one could get apps through USB as well. I've been using the local webserver method so far. It's strange you couldn't get it to work. Are you sure your widgetlist.xml is in the right format? It needs to be in the root directory of the webserver as well.

Hi I am new to this forum but have browsed this sites for a few years as I am interested in hardware hacking and adding my own functionality to my TV. I am sure that by now everyone knows that many TV's can be upgraded by simply swapping the motherboard. I however just wanted to share my experience of upgrading the UN60JU6400F to the UN60JU6500F.

I just picked up a UN60JU6400F on this Thanksgiving for $800. After messing around with it I was slightly disappointed by the omission of 4:4:4 chroma @ 4k 60hz. A quick google search revealed the this is only possible on the 6500 and up, after comparing the specs and reviews of these TVs it became clear to me that the 6400 and 6500 are essentially the same TV but with a more populated motherboard and bluetooth. I decided that the upgrade was worth the risk and found the 6500 motherboard and a wifi/blueooth adapter on ebay for $45 with shipping. When it arrived I opened up the TV and swapped the motherboard, unfortunately as I only received the boards and no cables I was unable to upgrade the wifi/bluetooth card as the wifi cable inside my tv is missing over half the pins (cheap bastards!). After putting everything back together It booted up and works great (aside from some minor color calibration adjustments). However as the 6500 expects a wifi/blueooth adapter and all I have installed is the wifi one, the wireless is currently non operational but Ethernet for now is fine for me. (I did see resistor bootstrap configurations on the motherboard to allow for my original wifi card and a few others but would rather use the new and intended wifi/bluetooth card)

I know that this information is not news but just wanted to let anyone who has the 60" version of the JU6400 (probably other sizes and the JU640D/JU6390 as well but I cannot say) know that it is possible and works great (at least for me, please don't hate me if it doesn't work for you), and if anyone wants to upgrade I would suggest doing so while they are currently still cheap on ebay, they probably will not remain so when this TV goes out of production.

I do have one question however if anyone knows the part number for the cable that the bn59-01194f wifi/bluetooth module uses or even better, a pinout and the connectors used so that I can just make one myself instead of buying one for an insane price?


Oh and this probably goes without saying but only do these types of modifications if you know what you are doing and at your own risk, I am not responsible for sad non functional TVs! :(

Hello, sorry for my bad English.
I have a samsung tv ue40d6000 (T-GAS6DEUC) updated to the latest FW.
I have successfully performed the procedure to downgrade fw and installed sammygo hack and now everything works perfectly (except for the fact that once started the app samygo sometimes the TV will restart after it and do not understand why).

Now I have some questions that I have not been answered. Here are the questions
1) I did not understand the difference between the hack with the app samygo and HospitalityHack
2) what are the packages
SamyGO-All-Extensions-v0.03.6-r15-for-T-GAS6DEUC-20110917145351.zip
SamyGO-All-Extensions-Bugfix-v0.03.6-r15-for-genoa-20111001090149.zip

and these two

(where is for my tv?)
have I update with these ones inside the TV?

must be replaced because the most up to date? I see that all apps presentiin this section require it, so why not inserted directly in the app samygo?

(For the moment it would NetPlayer or similar)
5) how to install the app? I tried enabling the developer account and software sammy widget (even if I have problems with the impostazioen ip I put one that is not of my subnet and do not understand how to change it) but if I install so I remove it app samygo. I have to copy the folder of the app inside wiget / user and edit the file info.xml? if you where I wrote the procedure?

6) After a few days of searching I found the following app

Hello,
I started thinking about Rooting our UE48H6270 this week, but the firmware is MST14DEU-2790.1 .
I disabled OTN-Support now, but I think it is to late, because the firmware is to new now.
( in this version this OTN-Support-Switch is located in OPTION-MRT-Option)

Could there be chance of rooting in a few weeks or months, or do you think, i can forget it and reset the TV to automatic updates?

M-Go install fails on European firmware because of a missing emp (for hard drive access).
You can install M-Go if you remove the emp line from config.xml. Everything except movie download will work.

Hi Guys,

on my old Samsung TV (D550) if any source supported Anynet+ (CEC) then it was automatically activated. It was so convenient...
Unfortunately on my new H6400 (original firmware) to reach the same I have to:
- open Tools menu
- choose Anynet+ submenu
- on popup choose an item
- confirm
each time.

I often switch between TV and RaspberryPI (used as media player) and it is really annoying.

Is there a way to enable auto activation Anynet on capable source?

Hi

I'm a real noob in Smart TV matters.
I want to install apps like Plex or IPTV, but I have serious problems in setting up such a system.
I know put the TV in Develop mode, but then you have to change IP and make some more changes, in order to access the Apps in its fullness.
I have a model (48H6400AK) and would like to know any tutorial to do so.

You're already donor, best way to know is to try (and report), we nearly have no feedback about non-European models.
If you own very latest firmware, I'd say 50% chance, otherwise 99% :)
