[C] Hardware • LE37C530F bad nand flash

Hi guys! I have LE37C530F which is in perfect condition except the nand chip. Actually is a OneNAND made by Sasmsung. So here is the deal - the TV works fine when I intentionally "freeze" (with spray) the chip. When the chip reaches room temperature the TV can't be turned back ON. Clearly the problem lies within the chip. I have several questions - how can I dump the flash (it's KFG1G16U2D); where to find valid dump (can I extract it from official update); how to flash the new nand while chip is onboard (I don't have programmer for that particular chip). I was thinking about JTAG, but I'm only finding information about some console connection over the VGA port. Thanks and sorry for my English...

It looks like I can quote here I short question perhaps related to this thread:
Is it possible to stream or otherwise get the shown windows desktop onto the full tv-screen?
Out of which programm from the PC? I have vlc-media-player in mind, which has such options!?
Would't it be similar like playing a video file with windows media player over the wlan to the tv, which is functioning for me (TV in the same home network)? Is'nt it streaming over http? Of course the windows desktop screen must first be recorded into a "buffer"-file, while this growing file could be streamed, or not?
Perhaps it also exists a simple solution for the windows media player!?

I'd be very happy to get an further ongoing answer or a hint to look for.

Hello,

I decided to try the closest EEPROM to the upgrade plug & SoC, welded 2 wires to VCC and SDA connected to a switch.(GRD not used)
Started with defaults, enter service menu. etc. Problem solved !

Took a few pics to show which one is the right EEPROM.
(it may help others as this forum helped me understand a bit more about Samsung TV's)

Yes I changed the location to UK as that this country has PVR.
Worked like charme.

In order to get into the servic menu.
I did not purchase the expensive remote control I did use a app "IR Remote" for Android that can handle the codes that you have to send to the telly.
Codes and how-to can be found in the Samygo Wiki.

So yes changing the location to get PVR running works.
I did not change model!! However that is possible looks like that "only" changes submenu settings.

PS: after I had a brief look at the link provided above to another thread...
I did not do a factory reset after changing location. If you do so you cannot re-import your channellist.

Can somebody tell me a way one of the primary subtitle languages that already exists for dvb-c channels to point to Macedonian language ?? I see my language as Undefined and need to manually change on every channel change and this is very annoying. I have read on some modding of T-CHU7DAUC firmware , but when I open T-VAL6DEUC firmware in HEX Editor there are no such strings.

AFAIK your fw is T-NT14UUABC-1202.0, and numbers can't be compared between different fw/regions. Even for most common here European version (T-NT14UDEUC), we don't know how things stand for. At least we didn't have negative reports yet, so I think it's worth the try, yes :)

Network security is always effective if implemented in layers. Host "hardening" should be such a layer. By the way - do hosts.allow/hosts.deny work in these systems?

Hello, sorry for my bad English.
I have a samsung tv ue40d6000 (T-GAS6DEUC) updated to the latest FW.
I have successfully performed the procedure to downgrade fw and installed sammygo hack and now everything works perfectly (except for the fact that once started the app samygo sometimes the TV will restart after it and do not understand why).

Now I have some questions that I have not been answered. Here are the questions
1) I did not understand the difference between the hack with the app samygo and HospitalityHack
2) what are the packages
SamyGO-All-Extensions-v0.03.6-r15-for-T-GAS6DEUC-20110917145351.zip
SamyGO-All-Extensions-Bugfix-v0.03.6-r15-for-genoa-20111001090149.zip

and these two

(where is for my tv?)
have I update with these ones inside the TV?

must be replaced because the most up to date? I see that all apps presentiin this section require it, so why not inserted directly in the app samygo?

(For the moment it would NetPlayer or similar)
5) how to install the app? I tried enabling the developer account and software sammy widget (even if I have problems with the impostazioen ip I put one that is not of my subnet and do not understand how to change it) but if I install so I remove it app samygo. I have to copy the folder of the app inside wiget / user and edit the file info.xml? if you where I wrote the procedure?

6) After a few days of searching I found the following app

Hello, I have a question about the EX-Link cable. I'm going to get one, but I have 2 questions:
- Can we use UART to connect a PC to a Samsung TV or is mandatory to use RS-232 ? I thought RS-232 was a must, but what I found on the link the beginning of this page refers to TTL voltage
- what are the voltage level accepted by Samsung TV on the service port ?( regular RS-232 for sure, but what in UART mode , is it TTL 3.3 V, TTL 5 V or something else ?)
- Then, there is the question of the driver. If I plug a random usb plug with some eletronics to send serial data; what do I need as a driver ?
