i have downloaded the file "samyext4.img.F.zip"
but when extracted by a variety of software like rar, zip , keka and 7-zip and tried both on mac and windows
they all gave the same result corrupted image file :(

Hi!

I'm Roberto from Chile.

I changed tuner in service menu and now my TV when power on, shown the Samsung's logo, red light blink 5 times, the screen stay in black and a few seconds later, go to power off, then auto power on and the cycle repeats. I cannot enter the service menu again.

Any advice?

Hello,
I have been given a faulty UE50KU6000KXZF (French series).
The behaviour was that the "Smart TV" logo was displayed at startup but black screen after.
I tried to go to service menu, and made a "factory reset".
After that, it did not solve the issue, and moreover, I cannot enter Service Menu anymore, the smart Tv logo is still displayed at startup.
Any idea welcome,

Hello,
i have bought QE55Q90RATXZT.
To my utter disappointment the PVR option is disable in my conutry: Italy.
I was able to log in in the service menu.
I have changed the regiong to "pannordig" and "Extended Pvr" su ON in MRT Option.
But "Extended Pvr" always comes back to "OFF"
Can someone help me.

Greetings to everybody!

I´ve the same issue on UN55RU7100G. I´ve changed region to SELA_DTV and language to Portuguese in the service menu. After these changes, when I plug TV on power, "'Smart TV Samsung" logo appear and black screen after that, nothing more happens. Only AirPlay feature is working. Eventually when some youtube video is shared through the Airplay, youtube app open and controls are able to use (up, down, left, right, ok, stop and play).
I tried SDA+VCC short circuit twice and nothing happens. Mute+1+8+2+Power cause the same result: "Smart Tv Samsung" logo and black screen in the sequence.

Anyone experienced the same issue?

Same problem with my 32D6200, doesn't see my CI. I tried the CI on other tv and it works, but on samsung 32D6200 it stop to work.

Edit:

I exchanged my CI with one of a friend of mine. Now both work!

Has anyone found a workaround now that Samsung has removed the IR blaster from their phones? I looked through all the posts here, it will allow me to install SRC on my Galaxy S10+ but since there is no IR Blaster it doesn't work. Has anyone had success with an IR remote adapter? (Thanks in advance!)

Hallo,

I strolled here and there through the website and find it interesting. Since it seems a bit complicated and even dangerous I'd like to ask what is the benefit of rooting my TV (UE40H6600SV)?

What happens with my PVR-Recordings? I guess since they are encrypted with the original firmware, I cannot watch the recordings afterwards, right?
Or is there a method to make them readable anywhere in the process?

So my aim would be:
1. Make future recordings which can just used anywhere as any normal video file.
2. Be able to install VLC or any other app which can produce any video stream (for example my pc desktop without having to use a long HDMI cable, network cable is there an more practical) on my TV
3. Install a more useful browser e.g. firefox or even TOR than this awkward samsung app.

Is this all or any of these ends possible?

Where do I get the apps from or how can I install it after rooting? This I could not figure out.

Hello,

I got some problems with recording multilanguage streams in UE46F6400. Sometimes all streams are recorded and sometimes only one stream in main language. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

I already seen bugficks topic related to this issue: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=6511&p=51343#p51343 but i can't see if he solved it.
