It is possible...
But it is not smart. Actually light years from being smart.
To switch from a dvb-t channel to a dvb-s channel you have to press 11 buttons at least. (11 if you go from dvb-t fav. One, channel one to dvb-s fav. One, channel one.)
It is not possible to add channels from both dvb's in same favorite groups.
You have 5 for dvb-s and 5 for dvb-t
If you rename for example dvb-t fav. one to "dvb-t One" that makes the fav. dvb-s fav One also to change name to "dvb-t One".
BUT you can't see the channels from dvb-t when you are in dvb-s and vice versa.
why they change each others favorite names is really weird, if they can not be used together.

Samsung in Denmark don't answer about it, only that it is possible, ( if you press 11 buttons) - but how to combine fav. channels and why they change each others names they don't answer about at all, and throw me back to the store. The store blame Samsung.
So I am trapped with a TV I can't use..

Only way to get it work smart is to buy a box with a combined dvb-t and dvb-s receiver + and an android TV box + a programmable remote.

Hi, this is what worked for me.
Power cable out. Taken the board out. The ones with hdmi ports in case no techies read this.
Put in larhe zip lock bag with some silica gel sacks to absorbe any humidity just in case. Stuck in freezer for 10 minutes (should have left it longer)
Put back on tv, still cold. No change. As i said i should have left it longer .
Unplug from mains again. Sprayed the cip with air can upside down. Liquid came out and froze cip and board. Just a bit don't go crazy.
Powered on and bingo. Works.
Pressed exit for 15 secs and reset to factory default. Then switched back on and followed the wizard. Skip the software update as i suspect this is what is causing the issue. Also disable one in menu.
Save your comments in regards to freezer fix. I know it sounds bad. I was at the point of ordering a new board.
Worked for me. If you wish to try do it at your own risk. And never connect or disconnect live cables. Disconnect from mains.

I have rooted my TV (UE46F6340 FW T-MST12DEUC 0000 -> than 2126.0) and now, SmartHub is not working, TV is freezing etc...
I want to absolutely UNROOT my TV as it was in total Factory settings but I did not find any useful manual.

The problem is resolved. I bought a CH341A programmer on AliExpress for $5, saved my firmware, uploaded someone else's work, changed NUM OF POWER RECORD from 1 to 2, considered, compared, found this byte, fixed it in my own, uploaded it back and it worked. I stitched through the clothespin without soldering, although I had to tinker with the contact, write, read and compare several times to get the same result.
At the same time I found where the TV serial is registered in it and also restored it.
I also checked with another firmware, consisting of only 0xFF, with it the TV starts up and offers to manually restore everything in the service menu.

Hello,
Resurrecting an old post here, as I have a TV that's doing the same thing. However, I've had no luck with getting it out of this mode.
I have a UN58MU6071FXZA that was given to me because they couldn't get it to stop flashing red, blue, green on the screen. I have no idea how it got into this mode, but I highly doubt the person that gave it to me knows anything about service menus or anything technical.
So, I built an Arduino IR transmitter to throw the Factory code at it (and also tried other sequences) but it doesn't kick it out of this mode.
I did notice that the screen colors would dim ever so slightly when the "Info > Factory > 3speed" sequence was sent, almost as if there was something coming up under the solid colors.
Does this sound like a hardware issue at this point?

I have a big problem. I use on my TV a ChromeCast 3, and a pendrive (for recvording). My HyperX was read-only on friday, and I cannot format with TV or PC. I tried may tools (diskpart, low-level format, partition tools), but I cannot unlock this drive, Read-only always. Ok, I will change, but I put an DT R500 pendrive too, what I used with this TV on many years, and see that, but today TV cannot recognize, and when I see in PC I see 8 MB RAW partition only!
What happened with my TV, because second pendrive dead or file system is damaged? How can I repair my pendrives, and what's problem with my TV? Need an upgrade? Or maybe get a virus? I use Samy go for FTP too, but if upgrade firmware will working record or not?

Hi, I write from italy, they gave me the following TV set ue65nu7092uxxh. I know for sure that it is imported. I entered CAM and TVSAT card but the TIVU' option does not appear in the search. How can I solve it? Is there a possibility to change some settings even in the service menu? (I don't mind losing the guarantee). Thanks to those who respond.

We can root all E/F series even if we did yet a update of the firmware ? No need to downgrade ? I see "All ("smart"=having Smarthub) models on all firmwares are rootable".

Having first looking the wiki on the D series, the files are available for the D series, on the Mstar platform and Arm , it becomes possible that the d series is no longer supported. The installation in accordance with the wiki, judging by other reports in the forum, does not yield a result. Instead of installing Samygo_All_Extensions In file widgetlist.xml specifies the path to install the empty widget.And in the files of installation on the Mstsr there is no widget, for arm - the widget does not start.widget does not start. This has also been verified through Samsung tv SDK. The Java skript of widget on the arm is probably cutted.
Would you like to know what I did wrong? D-series not support?
