Just to answer my own question.
The option "Ext Wifi" is when the TV has an internal Network Adapter and you want also a Wifi (as it tries to give 2 different MAC addresses).
The option "Ext only-Wifi" is when there is no internal Network adapter.
These observations were made before I switched off the TV, because as I said from the beginning I loose these options when the TV is turned off.

Prevents TV to enter deep standby mode on power off, keeps root and remote access to TV. Basically shutdowns panel and audio only.

Usage:
  • Extract attached archive
  • Copy 80_SoftPowerOff.init to SYSROOT/etc/init.d
  • Copy libSoftPowerOff.so to SYSROOT/usr/so
  • Reboot TV or start script manually:

    CODE: 

    $SYSROOT/etc/init.d/80_SoftPowerOff.init start
Notes:

Script injects several PIDs depending on soft-off scenario, here's current brief summary:
  • org.volt.lwframework: RC power off button case
  • services-fw: sleep-timer off
  • tvtimer-manager: on/off-timer
  • tvs-daemon: forcibly cuts spdif audio output on HDMI sources in all above cases
Note that there are some scenarios I didn't test such as "soft-off at the end of scheduled pvr". Please report if you find/need any where TV doesn't go soft-off as expected, and I'll look for additional PID(s) to inject.

This seems to be broken on T-MST14DEUC_2130 (network root).
Code is injected, but never ran. I get no output from the library code and no log in /dtv.
Any idea why?

Does anybody knows which is the Service Port for Samsung T24E390EW?
Is it the VGA, as my older T19B300, or probably is the one marked as "PC/DVI/Audio in"? There is no other port marked as Service/ExLink (only another one with 3.5mm input for headphones).

In addition to that I would like to know if there is any problem to use the serial port of my very old computer.Is there a problem with the voltage if I only use pins 2,3,5 (e.g. Rx,Tx,GND)?
In fact I already did that to communicate with my older B300, but although it was successfull the problem was that I got "garbage"(many characters like when you get when there is no correct Code Page) as output. No damage happened to the TV.
My old USB to TTL adapter(PL2303) seems to not function correctly. Obviously it is one of the fakes and although I managed to find a driver to correct the yellow question mark (error 10- a known problem for these chips) and although the Prolific Check Version utility finds it, when I use putty it starts immediately and continously to give random characters, even though I have connected nothing yet to the pins.
I have ordered a new USB to TTL adapter (with another chip of course/ more reliable as I read), but in the meantime I would like to try with my old computer.

hi,
I bought this tv a year or two back and every time I need to re-tune it the channel order is wrong. I have to move the channels to a stick; change the channels with chanSort and then re-import them. It's a bit of a pain.
The TV's list of countries under "Country (Area)" has: Czech, Estonia, Greece, etc..., Other. Since the UK's not there I've set it to "Other".
Can I change this please? If not, is there an easier way for me to switch the channel order?

The TV goes off every 2 minutes. I had installed onlinetv and it worked while oscam no. the tv has updated and lost the root, but online tv still worked. Now I brought the TV back to the 0000 version and then to the 2130 to redo the root, but when I took it to the 2130 version it turns me off every 2 minutes and I can not do the root with patch.bat that by mistake. To solve I should delete online tv from mtd_ but I can not do it and if I delete it only from smart hub does not resolve anyway. The automatic and manual update option is not accessible from the menu (says function not available). In the service menu I get from otn server type operating and the voice otn support is not there.
How can I update the TV or restore it? With the recovery from TV it is not solved.

Hi

I have a Pn59d550c1fxzc

I did the unthinkable and went into the service menu just to see what it said about the bluetooth my new comp on the network was picking up from the tv and accidently toggled something.
I knew what it was and had the page saved on it but something happened to my pc and it was lost even using history in firefox couldn't find it.
I think it was something to do with upgrade or transfer of some kind as I did read about it right after it happened but since then I can't recall it.
The wierd thing is I can't use my remote whatsoever so all these google searches that say to use remote to reset tv comming up are irritating when I clearly state no remote. ;)
It will also turn on if I toggle the main power off and on but it takes some mins and does let me use hdmi2 which was the port that was on I think when it happened.
I have the exlink cable etc and am wondering is there a way to reset the tv through exlink?
I'm thinking it's stuck waiting for the transfer in the service menu but I cant tell as the screen is blank unless I send something to hdmi 2.
It's like it's only semi bricked or half baked.

Any ideas?

Any Youtube video and not necessarily a video of that site. Youtube was an example, sorry. The other apps behave the same way.
Standard EQ settings, but the situation does not change by varying. If I increase the volume from 90 to 100 it happens immediately, at lower levels it takes a while.

Unfortunately, mistakenly i changed the front color of my TV, as i was trying to find Bluetooth Setting in Service Menu.
The TV is bought in Germany in 2011
UE46D6500 (UE46D6500)
Type: 46P1UF6E
Location GER_EU

I would be so thankful if someone knows the Front color of this TV or any tips about it
