Purchased from Holland. Has no ability to get freesat epg. Is it just the tuner type that needs changing in the engineer panel firmware to enable the software ? The set is already setup for UK region and receiving Astra UK channels via sat input. But only now and next on EPG.

What tuner type is used in UK model.

I doubt if this TV board is different to UK model apart from the defined tuner type. Mine is a two input sat tuner and terrestrial TV input.

Hello, nope, impossible. All sensitive partitions are readonly and digitaly signed. Any changes will brick tv.

Got your report about updating 1st post: it's OP's will. Not sure it's worth to constantly mention that one fw breaks and next fw fixes anyway. That only confirms our advice to never update. Tell if any improvement one day, will see then :)

If really you insist, post here some proper and full (from where it stops) continuation to 1st post, will merge...

This story remain a mistery.
I tried to delete all the log and I made the modification as suggested on the init file but every now and than the problem is there again and the way to solve it is not very repetitive.

This time I loade in ftp a fresh samyext4.img few times and at a certein point it started to work properly.
After that I reainstalled the previous samyext4.img and TV still working properly.

What I notice is that the FTP and Telnet are always available also when the TV is off ... the feeiling is to have the poweroff lib installed but it isn't... ... puzzled ....

Hello!

Sorry for my bad english.
I'm have smart tv Samsung UE32ES6100W.

unsuccessful opening of the service menu))
I'm don't know what I did in the service menu, but my tv is now brick .
My TV doesn't react turn on power in any way and its indicator doesn't light up.

I was visiting on wiki page(https://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php/UnBric ... PROM_Reset), but did not find the necessary help.
How do hard reset SoC EEPROM?
Or what needs to be done to fix the TV, if possible))?

I tried unite circuit on IC901:
M_E_VCC+M_E_SDA
M_E_GND+M_E_SDA

I attach photos of the motherboard.

Hello everybody,

I've tried about SmartHub -> Develop account -> DNS -> SamyGo app to root my device, unfortunately I had the firmware 1028 installed.
The TV works, the root is not working and the CI module is no longer recognized.
Factory reset and reinstall the firmware 1028 has been unfortunately unsuccessful.
A firmware downgrade is not possible because no connection to the DNS server can be established.

Please help. Thank you

Hi,
I spent couple of days reading around but not able to fix my problem yet.
I have a UE46ES8000, set to EU - Italy. I also have Tivusat Cam (which should allow me to see satellite channel) in CI slot.

Whit EU Italy code I can select Tivusat Cam on receiver option but I can't use it cause I only have a SCR unicable. Italy code only allows fix satellites with no Unicable options (no sense)

If I change country code to EU Germany, I can select SCR unicable and make it work as satellite, but I only receive crypted channels. I've not been able to select Tivusat cam on receiver option (only Astra or Hotbird or other satellites).

So or I can use LNB Scr unicable (EU Germany) or I can use the CAM (EU Italy): not usable at all.

Is there a way (firmware, advanced settings options) to have LNB unicable shown in EU Italy setting? Or to see the cam into German settings?

Maybe my problem could be solved this way - in SamyGo add a frame limit function per second say 50 Hz 60 hz and 24 (for cinema) Hz This would be incredible!

I don't think 1380 is more rootable than 1290. Check firmwares from link dar3k given above, and first root your TV before talking about oscam.
