you can use your channel selector to go up or down in the list, or even press the channel number according to its number in the list to play, fantastic
Wow that's awesome. That would reduce so much of burden of feeding iptv links in the media player and then keep swaping the channels to find the working ones. Nice share buddy.

Indeed that will reduce a lot of hardwork.

On my 46ES8000 the Amazon Video App is not working and is giving error 99 (not mentioned in the www.amazon.com/videohelp).
I am with FW version 2006 and obviously I do not want to upgrade just to try.

Does anybody have the same my issue ?

I wrote a preliminary mediaplayer component just to see how it would work. The basic functionality is already there, what would be nice to have is a list of available sources (I was considering parsing the output from libHideSources, but it displays way too much information...) to make switching the inputs easier. https://github.com/rytilahti/home-assis ... 6a015f0851 is the commit, and adding

CODE: 

mediaplayer:  - platform: samygo    name: TV    host: 192.168.XX.XX    token: !secret samygo_token
into the config file is enough to activate it :-)

I'm still undecided what other features should be implemented (channel changing, source changing at least) and whether to try to push this towards the official release, but it's a start and makes it a bit easier than using the rest api with jsonrest directly.

edit: also, the webcam/screenshot part is not there yet either..

Hello. Will this hospitality mode hack work with 1028 firmware? I have a UE32D6100 with 1028 firmware and DNS downgrade seems it won't work. I'm running out of ideas (viewtopic.php?f=22&t=12031). Bye and thank you in advance.

Hi, I would like to know the latest patch "samyGOso v1.2.5". I have an UE40H6400 and I would like to make sure it works.
I'm starting with that AND I WOULD LIKE TO LEARN SOMETHING. As I burned the satellite receiver, I saw that fit that option. Please be worth having everything in the Smart TV or better buy a new receiver.

Samsung has a whole line of smart sign devices actually. That's the screens you'll see in shop windows, airports, mc donalds etc. :) This one was from an electronics store.
They're very much like TV's, some even look exactly the same, but there is no receiver in them.
That's why I thought someone here might have some more knowledge than me :)

Hi,

My television UE32D6000 lately comes to life by itself.
She's on her own, she's also been temporarily out of sound.

I already opened it, the source/alimentacion is working in full. The capacitors are not swollen.

I'm starting to get desperate.

I currently have root samygo on tv and official updates are disabled.

I've already thought about doing a factory reset, but I'm afraid it might screw up downgrade and root.

Has something like someone ever happened? Can you help me?

It took me a lot of reading to get everything in place, and i'm glad that i could still root my device (F5500) even though i had updated the firmware to 2126.0.

But, after the reading I tried it, and yesssss, it all worked out great when following your directions. Rooted my tv, installed SamyGo.so and finally this hack. This was exactly what i was looking for, because i didn't want to buy a hdmi switch/extractor. So in short:

thank you for this hack and the time you put in it!! Greaaaaaaaat!

Hi, I have a UE55ES8000 with samygo, and all work well, but one my friend, with a UE46ES8000, without samygo, and with standard firmware 2022, have this problem, the wifi stopped to work, I think he have done something wrong in service menu, he say he have not done nothing. Anyway, now in his service menu, at the begging of menu, where I see "wifi" mac success, he see "wifi" and only the symbols "----"

What can be? Is possible to solve?
