Hi TVexpert any luck with this issue? ? I just happened to have a 65 hospitality bricked, stucked in the smart tv logo as yours. I'll give it a go to the eeprom procedure did it work for you? My model is hg65ac894wxxxs and the board is bn94-076 if I'm not wrong. Should i just buy the board instead? What do you reckon? Thanks for any advice.

Hi

I'm unable to save edition done to the channel list.
-or maybe it's placed in some temp folder I don't know.

Anyway, it'd be really great if you could help be able to save the file after editing.

It's a j-series .zip-file not .scm as in previous versions. I tried an scm as well but it didn't seem to save either?

Thanks in advance :)

EDIT: Just found out that there's a download channel list button :oops: however in my browser(s) the download button is to the upper right, and when my browserwindow isn't maximized it's simply invisible (even tried 3 different browsers).
I didn't look for any other buttons as I thought the save button would do the trick. :?

Works great now :-)

Hi, I have the Samsung 46 inch LED Smart TV. Model no is UA46C8000 its out of warranty and I have been using it for almost 4+ yrs with no issues.
A friend of mine, tried experimenting with the original factory settings and screwed it up.
Symptons are:
When powered on, there is no display, no image after testing with flashlight, restart sound can be heard, Samsung logo on the bottom panel is continuously lit, the TV goes in to a restart or reboot loop continuously turning on and off with the red light on the panel blinking on and off....

Please help as the service men and the repair man is taking me for a ride with various diagnosis...

Hi guys !

I'm looking for help with my Plasma TV :(

I bought the tv on Peru, but i'm from Chile. After the region change (Peru to Chile) on the service menu, the tv starts to rebooting.

So, this happen with the tv when I connect them to the wall:

- The tv power on by itself. I don't do nothing with the tv button or the remote. The tv starts by itself.
- 3 seconds black
- 8 seconds with the Samsung logo
- 10 seconds on black
- Reboot

I don't know what can I do :( I open it, and I'm looking for a new motherboard (is this the name?) for my plasma.

So, this are my 2 options:

1- repair my tv (I don't know how)
2- buy a new mb

For the first option; here I have a photo of the mainboard:

I don't know how to do the Unbricked method...


For the second option, I have some problem.
The TV it's only selled on Latin America, and I can't find repair parts for it. But, they have a similar: the PN51F4500 (selled on North America).
Will be problems if I put a mb of some PN plasma, on my PL tv?

I bet eeprom reset may help you. But need to be sure where it is located first. Search for "eeprom reset" on forum and wiki.

(you will need to investigate your mainboard very close and find atmel 8-pin microchip near SoC).

I recommend you to use older revision of this patch. Since v0.24 a lot of code was changed and B series support was never checked. Latest stable version for B series is
v0.24

p.s. I`m not sure your firmware is supported at all. Do not be surprised it wont work.

Did you manage to try this out and was it successful?

There are some pictures of the service menu here,

and the last picture shows the region option (set to PANEURO).

As always I advise caution in the service menu (AT YOUR OWN RISK). An easy mistake to make is trying to use the left and right arrow keys for navigating the menus. They don't

Use Up and Down arrow keys to move between options. Use Left and Right arrow keys to change values. Make a note of the existing value before changing it. pressing Enter on an option should display all available values for that option.
