[C] Firmware • firmware menu c6200 locked 0 status: How to unlock>???HELP!
I have a problem concerning my ua46-c6200 board that has been locked for some features. So i cannot access from factory menu adjust settings in whitebalance menu. It gives no submenu for whitebalance! Its hidden somehow. It also says loced 0 status in the main menu when entering the menu into factory mode. Also mac adress is not visible (FAIL) but i am able to connect to router. As i replaced this board for a defective ue40c6700 board I need to adjust the whitebalance settings and if possible turn teletext option on and change region/language if possible. But also usb port is locked and not able to change or load orginal or newer firmware (not even for same model uaxc6200 series board. So what code I need to open these submenus??? Do I need a service remote with factory AND also 3speed option or not ? And how to unlock usb for upgrading firmware.

Oh ok. So if i want to use OScam i still have to run on TV Mode (So No Evo Kit active then and useless)Any device plugged to HDMI is not going to be rooted because you plug it to a rooted tv
Your E will still be rooted, but not the STB (nor the PS4, the android tv or whatever...)
The SEK-4500 is not an evokit, it's another screen-less TV (N series actually). Just the way Samsung found to rip off unhappy high-end E/F/H users legitimately expecting some promised evolution.

Looking to play with tv, just bought secondhand. I’ve got the samygo widget installed but won’t load and I suspect due to firmware from what I’m reading.
I’ve put up address in dns which is fine and rebooted tv. I select firmware option but I’m told none available.
My current version is 001021
If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

1. Set Firmware to 0000, as described in the Forum, viewtopic.php?f=63&t=11378
2. then load any Firmware, for example 2103,
3. then do root for MST, viewtopic.php?f=63&t=7982&sid=2ceea8afe ... 0c940258e1
so you get root and can decode your recordings

I have posted in another topic from here for an EH6030 to enable PVR. After that i found this topic , i'v built the transmiter, and "voila" managed to unhide a lot of hidden option in SM. In those options i found the "PVR support" which i put in ON position. After that restarted the TV but nothing appeared in the Menu.

My physical Setup is 70 horizontal LEDs and 38 vertical ones (on each side). I used to useI had a bug in my code which is now fixed and should work with H_LEDS:36 V_LEDS:20Anyhow, it's strange, that H_LEDS:36 V_LEDS:20 crashes the tv and H_LEDS:36 V_LEDS:18 doesn't. Might it have to be a 2:1 ratio?

(half number and one off) and then double the leds in the app.ino because this worked without crashing. With your new version
H_LEDS=35;
V_LEDS=19;
does not crash anymore, yet it does not properly work either. It results in 4 (due to doubling, usually 2) LEDs being just white.
Using the actual number of LEDs
H_LEDS=70;
V_LEDS=38;
still crashes. That might be solved by increasing the "SLEEP" value. I have not tried that, since I prefer the lower "resolution" over slower performance.

I can also confirm that root is still working fine on recent firmware.
Just make sure you follow the instructions precisely and pay attention to the the "tricks" mentioned by Sectroyer under the Preliminaries section. It didn't work first try on my F series running T-MST12UABC-2142.0 but after a couple of attempts the widget showed up in SmartHub and installed just fine.
Just to be clear - I AM NOT RECOMMENDING UPGRADING YOUR FIRMWARE, EVER - however there is a difference between root doesn't work on new firmware and SamyGO developers will not help if you choose to try.

Unfortunately, the one I found so far (UE43J5500AW) had 1550 firmware (no root, no downgrade) on it and the screen is faulty.
I went for it yesterday. It will be perfectly enough for frontend development.

Looking to get the widget files (img) for that widget. It's a Canadian streaming app. I have tried sending HTTP requests to Infolink manually (viewtopic.php?p=108771#p108771) but since I'm using AppKey and Token from a different TV model (older which doesn't support this app), the Crave widget is not listed.

AS nobody answered me here (strange...) I found the solution to use a Smartphone S4 with infrared led. With the APK file of the service remote app i installed the s1 s2 s3 service remote for Samsung. I cannow access the menu with s2 s3 buttons and access the white balance menu FINALLY!! But still updating firmware seems not possible. The usb port does see the usb stick with files, but denies to accept it or see the update files. Is the restricted firmware locked as there is still a : locked 0: item shown in the service menu ?? How to remove the locked 0 status ? Or not possible as it was a China motherboard ???

T-Gapdeuc isn't downgradeable in any known ways. DNS trick does not work at all for any models, hospitity hack does not work on t-gapdeuc. So no go, door is closed. Unless you figure out how to reflash full chip, or resolder with preprogrammed with proper firmware.
