Yes, i completely agree, ATMEL S24C32 is our target. No doubts.
I found the EEPROM on S24C512 under the lower metal radiator (meaning towards down side of the tv). I will add pictures.

I know it is this the EEPROM as I have studied the EEPROM research done by you before on D panel and then tested until I found the address where it is changed the panel type: 3E2 bit 1 with values 0E for panel 51", 0F for 60", 10 for 64", 11 for seekpanel ... these values I tested.

I am wrong?

I needed to find this because I try to solve a mainboard change. The new mainboard is from a 64" europe and my tv is 60" US (both F8500).
Previously I installed a 51" mainboard europe on a 51" US and it was plug & play (both F8500) so the region change is not an issue.
TV is starting with audio only. I did a factory reset from service menu without seeing the screen and the music started automatically as should after factory reset.

In the setting there are 2 things different: panel type and logic s/w where this logic s/w if linked to the panel size. I do not know how this logic s/w works and if it.
I would appreciate your thoughts!

Hello
Xxan you please send me all the values in the service menu for my EU46D7000
because after the latest firmware i downloaded i noticed picture problems and input lag witch i did not have before,so i checked my service menu and saw that it changed all my values even my tv type to 40 inches from 46 and my front color values has also changed,I've tried factory reset but nothing,If you could send me the default values I would really really appreciate it and yes I do know my way around the service menu.

Hi

I am trying to install another mainboard on Plasma F8500 (the mainboard came from 64" and my TV is 60"). So far I have only audio and remote keys response.

Using the old mainboard that partially works I have some decrypted the EPPROM values to check/set the main settings.
(type, local set, tuner, region, rs232, watchdog, ...)

I have boot log via putty that maybe someone can have a look and suggest the issue and what to do. Help needed, please.

So far I can not access TDM. I see the log and I can input without any initial code but It ignores any of my input. Maybe the cable or TTL does not work and waiting a new one.

EEPROM reset tried two combinations but I do not have a method to check if I did ok.

Root install in blind did not work yet.

My issue i have a bricked UE40D6000 and I have a mainboard from an UE46D6200, is it possible to use board from 6200 to 6000?

Yes, Same issue with me. I have a h6400 tv and I bought it late in july 2015,regret not buying a 2015 model, bought it for 3D, it worked fine like till march 2016 and then I can't connect to wifi , TV freezes, Remote disconnects.For some reason I ignored it, it got working again till 2017 march ...when it is summer here in India. Then it again stops working ..But had some important exams, and eventually I lost my warranty too. As I have another old samsung phone, which has an IR blaster, I use info menu mute power... to go in service menu... But in my case the error doesn't resolve even after resetting. Sometimes The setup screen after reset also freezes. And yet not wifi nor lan nothing works good. I am planning to upgrade(downgrade) to 0000 firmware but Now even the USB is not being recognised

HI All - any help appreciated.
Have a Samsung RU7406 (Spain). Have factory reset and checked service menu. In settings, there is NO broadcasting option (it is not greyed out, it just is not there at all). Had Samsung connect remotely, were unable to resolve the issue.
In Service Menu under Tuner it says not detected....
This means I have a TV that I cannot use to watch TV!!
Anyone else experienced this issue? Is the Tuner damaged? It is a brand new tv, purchased 1 month ago.

Hi

Not sure if this has been asked already. I bought my UA55D7000 Samsung Smart TV in Saudi in 2011. I brought it to the UK last month but cannot tune in any digital channels. The region in the main menu is selected to Europe/Asia. There is no option in Autotune or Manual Tune to select digital. The Autotune function runs through but only scans analogue (no channels!). I accessed the service menu but apart from doing a factory reset, didn't really understand any of the other options. I did notice a greyed out option Local Set which has the value EA_SAUDI and was thinking if I could change this to UK or Europe etc. then perhaps I could get a digital option to scan. Any ideas?
You need to enter Extended Service Menu if you want change Local Set to EU. And maybe You will need to change tuner on mainboard because of different hardware for tune channels from original country to European standards

Hi guys, I also wanted T-mst14uabc. Brazilian model of H6400 also uses the same version. Now I can download an old firmware but I am still unsure if I can upgrade... But What I did to download an old firmware was as follows, I went to samsung's product support page of my model where the download options exists. Then I copied that address and pasted it to archive.org cache page / wayback machine where I got the old 2014 page . From there I got the link to download the old file . And the old file is still on the server . So here is the direct link to download 40H6400 Brazilian/Multi Language T-TMST14UABC but the issue still is it isn't 0000 firmware, but possibly the oldest of all- ( dates November 9 2014) .
but the version is still 2123

Hi all,
i want to give the downgrade a second chance. After a few years ;-)
I read the wiki and get some infos from my TV.
In the service menue i see the firmware 3000.0
and the Backupfirmware 3002.2.
now i guess the downgrade (a few year ago) was successful

yesterday i try to run telnet enabler and DTS sound support (DCA) app from internal memory, but with no success.

Can anybody give me some advice please.

I have problem with downgrade to 0000 from latest 1550 firmware on js9000 (T-HKPDEUC).
From 1530 is no problem.
Does anyone have new downgrade files for 1550 FW T-HKPDEUC ?

Hi from Russia (yes, I write from 2020)
I got the ASUS WL-160N dongle (from the list of compatible models with my series), set the correct model in the engineering menu (LC630), turned on the LNA to position 1, activated All Share, and wireless network support. The TV can see the dongle, but when it tries to find the wifi, it does not work, the search indicator turns around, then after a while just throws it on the home screen. With WPS, it's the same. When trying to enter the SSID manually, the TV stops responding to commands from the remote by pressing "ready" after entering the name.

Maybe I did something wrong? Or my TV is support nothing but EDIMAX EW-7717UN dongle?

Tv is stuck in some kind of loop, displays "start playback: INT" un text in top left in red. Goes through settings... Doesn't stop. Any way to stop this please?
