New version, unlocking more PIP "sizes", on E-MST only two split screen additional modes, but I suspect there could be more on higher ends TVs :)

New sizes are available only in PIP-on-TV mode (TV as main source can only be left image, too bad ;) ) because trying to unlock them on native PIP-on-HDMI visually cause strange things :P

Yes :)
In "normal" conditions (I mean not "all black" or "all white") clouding is usually barely noticeable, but *always* exist on edge LED's.

Hello guys,

I want to record on a network destination. So, I edited user_target.ini accordingly in order to use a folder that is mounted to the TV via NFS.

When starting to record, a ts-file is created properly on the nfs folder. When stopping to record, it tells me "recording deleted"

By the way, the old samygopvr records correctly in the very same nfs folder.
Also, if I use a SMB share for PVR+ 4.0, recording works, too.

So, for some reason there is an issue concerning recording on nfs shares.

Can anybody help out?

I first thought of info+menu+mute+power but I finally won't implement other key combination(s) because I find it's overkill and unnecessary, sorry :)

Hi everyone,
I bought on July a Samsung 50H6400 France locked :(
sadly on the first install the guy who installed it updated the software to the last version. No on the service menu is locked on PANEUR. I tried everything on this forum without success. Is it possible to do something with the last firmware or not? Not even a downgrade? I hope in something nice update.

Hello everyone,

I have a 40'' D8000 bought in Hungary (I'm Italian). Upon arriving I realized the problem of the digital receiver that I couldn't set up to "ItalY". No problem: thanks to SamyGO forum I immediately had access to "secret" settings and I made available the "Italy" option.
However for the past three years I have a problem I can not solve: the 3D creates a "failure" in depth. At the right of the screen in fact I can see in some pictures the edges staggered. If I pause and try to calibrate the depth via the settings, I can fix it but obviously only in that precise image; doing so in fact I create a 'failure' with other images of the film. I tried to take a picture with my iPhone to give you an idea of ​​what I'm saying:

As one can see from the pictures, along the legs of the policeman standing on the right of the car, there are strange artifact, like a blue line on the edge of the legs. If I play with perspective the artifact moves until it disappears or (if I continue to increase or decrease the value of settings) reappears on the other side. But I repeat: If playing with the settings I can fix the problem only for a picture, then I find myself with more images with the same problem.

Unfortunately the warranty has expired by now (I have been abroad to work).

Now I would like to understand if some guru can indicate to me (of course if is possible) what settings I should check in the advanced "secret" settings accessible through ruSamsungTVComunicator or what I can done. I also noticed that some settings accessible from the normal menu of the TV are not available. How can I do to make them accessible??

[D] Support • UE40D5520 stuck in bootloop after update

Hi. I have an UE40D5520 led, and it bricked after an Internet (trough LAN) attempt to update.
Now it just turns on, shows the "Samsung SMART TV" logo, shows "AV Input" for 3 seconds, and then turns off, and the cycle starts again. The TV was working fine before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to disable unused scripsts, especially samba related scripts.
I had same issue in H series and i solved disabling samba.
