I am looking for F bluray testers who want to help make root more stable and cinaviapatch better. Best if you have:
- some linux/rooting experience
- some "cinavia experience" (enough if you know how to make it appear :D)
- live in europe (or at last not far from GMT+1, sorry US/Australia testers :P)

Hi
I have SAMSUNG UE55F7000 TV unfortunatelly with latest firmware. Recently I bought SAMSUNG LEVEL OVER wireless bluetooth headset. Headset works great with laptop or smartphone but I want to connect it to TV. I want to connect it wireless. Is there any way to connect it via bluetooth? I enter to service menu and check position "BT_Audio_ON_OFF". It was turned ON but I still can't find where can I pair it via bluetooth.
If there isn't any chance to connect it via internal bluetooth does somebody know what should I buy to connect it wireless?

If there is another way to download the application - like how it is with Android apk's It will be enough for me. Something like accessing the Samsung store from PC or is there any way to run fully feathered Virtual Machine that can access the store like a normal TV, if there is such VM I can get what I need from the VMDK of the VM. Any suggestions are welcomed :)

Good afternoon, I'm a newbee on this forum and on general Samsung TV customisation... sorry for that.

I have a UE40D700 recently updated to T-GAPDEUC_1033.2 firmware, the latest one from Samsung updated via internet directly to the TV. I have just realised my TV is set to Local Set of EU_Germany but I'm in Spain and I want to use the right one. I have tried to change it using ruSamsungTVCommunicator_V0.0.18.0 following forum instructions but ooops! it remains in grey. so I'm either uncapable or it isn't possible... I supose this is due to the fact that the current firmware doesn't allow to do so. I know there are some possibilities but I'm not sure which one and if downgrading as per the forum instructions from the latest firmware is possible... is it? If so, my intention is trying again with the older or original one, the one updated through DNS...

Your help will be very well appreciated,

I have a external usb wifi adapter (Samsung produce)! I think that this wifi adapter can support to the tv in internet acces.

Is this idea fairy tale?

I want to request a patch that allow recording from hdmi input. For example while i watch somenthing on hdmi i can use the pvr and timeshift. Is it possible? I think it will be a very useful patch.

Hi i want to request a link for downloading f series widget/app from internet. I want a backup copy on my pc for studying porting these apps. I know its hard to post link here but for cd series i found it for f series instead not.
I need a decrypted copy of Sky online app.is there someone with f series that can decrypt it and send me a download link? Thanks.

General • Why does Samsung try to prevent you from rooting?

I'm assuming that's the case, considering there's warnings not to update the firmware. Otherwise I'd think maybe it's just that they didn't think there was enough demand to make an official rooting method worth adding. If the firmware updates are simply to patch the exploits so they can't be used against the owner's wishes (malware, etc.) then I'd think they would have realized by now that there was demand.

Does anyone have any idea what reason they have for trying to prevent it?

Hello!

My TV (Samsung UE48H6500)

Can you help me. How to to change region code to my TV: what is the procedure, what is needed, codes, etc ...
The reason is that I can not scan SKY Germany and some other channels. When you I want to switch sat.list via USB. I get a notice that the erroneous information for the country. Which region code I have to set ... now is on Paneuro?
TV I watch in the Croatia

Can I to change region code for some other region if is TV overlooks in Croatia?

Lib allows to use "Fit to Screen" picture size mode in ALL resolutions, and consequently recover up to ~15% image area being never visible and irremediably lost, especially on 576i and 720p channels.
Even if image borders are generally not essential, patching results in better image quality, due to more pixels = less upscaling.

Usage:
*For D series (arm), replace every instance of /mnt below by /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/user/SamyGO/SamyGO

  • First install latest samyGOso as usual, if needed.
  • Extract attached archives and copy libFitScreen.so to /mnt/opt/privateer/usr/libso (create folder if needed)
  • Execute

    samyGOso -d -T -B -l /mnt/opt/privateer/usr/libso/libFitScreen.so
Once patched, picture size setting become common to all channels and not anymore specific to HD or SD. It means if an HD channel is set to "fit to screen", setting applies to SD as well, and conversely.

  • Autostart
    • Copy 99_90_FitScreen.init to /mnt/etc/init.d
    • Set permissions

      Code:

      chmod +x /mnt/etc/init.d/99_90_FitScreen.init
If patch detects TV source and non-FullHD channel as being currently watched on injection, display will be "refreshed" and a ~1sec blackout will occur to apply new sizing.
