Since the last update Samrt Hub is Updating at every TV Start und makes the Smart TV not Acessible for 10-15'. Sometime my TV Freezez. I Have installed the last FW (2008) without Improuvement. Any Suggestions?

Hi recently i have repaired my TV (switch off on off on issue..) the repair shop told me the power board was the issue and they have replaced it..
However once the repair was done.. the Digital tuning was missing... the repair shop told me they nothing did on the tuner side.. however they had flashed a different firmware (but i did a online firmware update as well)
However i still don't find DVB-T2 tuning in the tuning menu.
Can anyone help me to get DVB-T2 back on my TV..pls

My TV Bluetooth can be searched by other devices..like smart phones (Android based)... so i guess the BT hardware is embaded.... but how come the BT speaker doesn't get connected...

Hi all,

At my wits end so I thought I would try here. I have a Q7F which has 1230 Firmware. Same error applied for 1210.8 firmware.

The Error (First One) - Every time I try to accept the Terms and Conditions I get and error

The error is - 2014506-1

Steps I have tried to fix this:
  • 1. First Firmware upgrade as it was first noticed in 1210.8 > Upgraded to 1230. > Same error.
    2. I then tried to reset the network and tried both Wired and Wireless interfaces with Static IP addresses and the DNS of my gateway and secondly the Google DNS settings 8.8.8.8 as well as 8.8.4.4 > Same error
    3. I tried to do the Setup again Settings > System > Start Setup - Same error cant access the T&C's and error 2014506-1
    4. I tried resetting the smart hub Settings > Support > Reset Smarthub - Resets > try above > Nothing
    5. I tried to use the service menu to change regions tried four different regions (including the one I am in right now) > Same error
    5.1 Factory reset each time I did a region change. > Same error
    6. I deleted my Samsung account and created a new one (with the region I am in), insured I was in the same region in the service menu. > Same error
    7. Tried to reset and register the TV on my account through SmartThings - it resets the account on the TV, it registers the TV on my new account, starts the process then hangs on 45% at T&C acceptance. The TV then pops up a message each time the mobile client canceled the process.
Error 2 - but related to the Error above - Run SmartHub Test
  • 1. All the tests 1-4 are positive, DNS check, ISP block test etc. When I get to Samsung App test I get an error 400001 Each and every time.
    2. Even after all the tests and things I tried above - Same error
In summary I get two errors after all the tests:
1. T&C Error - 2014506-1
2. Smart Hub Test Error at the Samsung Apps test - 400001

If I missed anything in my tests and possible solutions I would really appreciate the guidence, or if there is anyone that knows what these errors are that can point me in the right direction I would Really appreciate it

My patched TV Samsung Series B (UE40B7000WW) reboots itself as soon as I try to enter Content Library -> Content Management menu.

Many years ago I copied some SamyGO games/apps (such as DCA module and PVR+) to my TV's memory and they still work fine, but for some reason (and I don't know when exactly that happened) I no longer can enter Content Management menu.

Any ideas how to fix it?

I'm trying to use my wifi usb dongle with Samsung TV Series B (UE40B7000WW).
Dongle's Model and H/W Version: D-Link Wireless G DWA-110, Ver. A1 (uses RaLink RT 2571w chip compatible with rt73).

According to "Hardware Hack", after changing the dongle's PID/VID values (07d1:3c07 -> 04E8:2018) Samsung TV should recognize it as original.
For hacking dongles, all you need is plug the dongle to your linux computer and issue this commands.
# iwpriv ra0 e2p 208=04E8
# iwpriv ra0 e2p 20A=2018
It's what the instruction says. But now I'm stuck with re-compiling dongle's rt73 source driver and making it support e2p flashing.

I'll describe the process step by step (under Ubuntu 9.04 which uses 2.6.28 kernel, compatible with the following rt73 source driver).

1. Download and extract rt73 source driver (from here https://www.ab9il.net/linuxwireless/rt7 ... .3.tar.bz2)

2. Navigate to the "Module" directory, and with root privileges, compile

CODE: 

# sudo make
3. Load compiled module into the system

CODE: 

# sudo insmod rt73.ko
4. Insert stick to usb-port and bring the interface up

CODE: 

# sudo ifconfig rausb0 up
5. Finally trying to change stick's VID, but get an error:

CODE: 

# sudo iwpriv rausb0 e2p 208=04E8Invalid command: e2p
I need your help with this issue since I'm not good at Linux.
So, what should be else done to make it support e2p flashing?

Hi,

This is my first post on samygo, so i want to send my appreciation to everybody who made this great job.
i discovered this site by mistake a week ago and since then i have no rest :)
my tv is ue46f8000 with T-FXPDEUC_1135.0 firmware. reading this site i was able to go back to 1125 using 0000 firmware.
and then installed root using 1st post of this thread (i presume this is latest root method ??). i cant block OTNSupport in service since it is greyed out so i blocked access to samsung sites using my router.
the root went ok and i have a working telnet/ftp. after enabled sshd from /mnt/etc/init.d the dropbear is started but login is not allowed (used SamyGO as password). previous posts reported that sshd is working so i wonder if there is another updated root version or i must find on forum a solution (new dropbear/scripts ?) and put it on my current root ?

Hi guys! heres the thing...

I've got a UN49KU6400 TV, and a HT-F5505k Home Theater, both from samy.

They are conected through the ARC enabled HDMI input and everthyng works fine, excpet a very annoying issue that everytime I turn the TV on, it turns on the HT, and switches the input to the HT HDMI. This happens when I switched off the TV on the antena source.

If I switch off the TV on the PS4 source (HDMI 1), when switch the TV back on, it will switch HT on and output the sound on the HT, as expected, and will not switch the source, but normally the TV is turned off when watching TV (antena).

Recently, I noticed that this behaviour doesn't occur when I turn on the TV from the power button on the unit. It's seems turning on has different process on the unit power button from the remote control. When I turn on from the unit button, the TV displays the "Smart TV" logo, while turnint it on from the remote control, it doesn't. Weird!

The firmwhere is up to date (v. 1220.6). It uses the same firmware from the KU7000...

The lib uses mostly parts of zoelechat's libScreenShot, except that it sends the data via UDP to an ESP8266 controller. So, without zoelechat, this project wouldn't be able - thx man! ;-)
So, if libScreenShot works for you, this should work too, but one never knows :D

Requirements
  • ESP8266-12E (the one with the USB-port, less headache :D )
  • PSU (power-supply for LED-strip)

Installation
  • Modify the app.ino, especially the LEDS and WiFi-settings ESP8266
  • upload app.ino to the ESP8266
  • Copy libAmbilight.so to the libSo directory (usually /mnt/opt/privateer/usr/libso
  • Modify ambilight_runner.sh to your needs (see section "Settings")
  • Copy your modified ambilight_runner.sh to /mnt/opt/privateer/bin and give it executable permissions
  • Copy 99_100_AmbiLight.init to /mnt/etc/init.d (CAUTION!!! Test first that everything works fine, before you procede to this step)

    CODE: 

    # to give executable permissions runchmod +x /mnt/opt/privateer/bin/ambilight_runner.sh
    Settings

    H_LEDS amount of your horizontal leds
    V_LEDS amount of vertical leds
    SERVER_IP IP of the ESP8266
    SERVER_PORT Port on which the ESP8266 operates (default 5050)
    OFFSET Shift the LED data by this number (positive numbers only, max size of led-strip)
    LSS_PARAMS libScreenShot params (link)

    Testing
    To test if everything works fine execute the ambilight_runner.sh.

    CODE: 

    cd /mnt/opt/privateer/bin/./ambilight_runner.sh
    You can hit CTRL+C to abort the script, make modifications to it and re-run it again until everything works.

    Limitations
    • Currently only clockwise LED-mount is working
    • Currently no support for "gap" on the bottom of the TV
    • If you have issues, that your TV isn't responding. Don't panic. The ambilight_runner.sh has a pause of 5 minutes. Upon un- and replugging the cable from your TV, you can simply increase the sleep time to maybe 10 minutes or remove the script entirely.
    Disclosure
    Although I'm a software engineer, I am not experienced with the development of Samsung TV libs, and my C-programming knowledge is on some semi-profi-level.
    I've just put together all the stuff how I think that it could work. So, if someone of higher knowledge may know of some critical stuff, please report here.

    Question for devs
    Right now I'm using a bash-script to inject with samyGOso every 0.3 seconds. Is there a better way to use a loop in the script itself? I tried doing so, but It only sends the data of the first screen captured.

Hi
I have a 55F9000 TV from Asia market. Looks like its main board is faulty. I only have audio but no video, backlight is working fine. My TV's main board has the part numbers "BN94-06576A" and "BN94-06666B". When I searched for this part, i found a main boards with part number "BN94-06576A" and "BN97-07729A" but taken from 55F9000, i believe from US market.

Can any one advice if these boards are compatible?

I also found other main boards from model 65F9000, with part number "BN94-06577A" and "BN97-07730A". Inspite of this being a 65 inch model will the main board be compatible since the LCD resolution is the same.

Look forward to your advice.

[H] General • How to check actual running time

I just bought a used, "as new", UE55H6400 and I'm trying to check the actual running time. I found the "Panel Display Time" info in the Service Menu which showed 0Hr. I doubt that it's accurate, though. As I understand, PDT is set to zero by a factory reset. I found out that older TV models had another hidden menu displayed by pressing MUTE, 7, 3, 7, OK, which had a MRT value displaying actual running time. However, this sequence doesn't work on my TV. Are there any other options to check running time?

Greetings, I was recently given a non-functioning UN55ES6600FXZA. The device had the power problem when after pressing the power button, the status LED would flash, a click heard, then restart and would continue the cycle until unplugged. I ordered both the power supply board and main board directly from Samsung Parts. The power board part number BN44-00521A and main board part number BN94-06153K which apparently supersedes the original main board part number BN94-05656M. I replaced the boards and updated the firmware (side note, I replaced the power board first but it did not resolve the issue, the issue was with the main board). It appeared the TV was working beautifully. As I was exploring the menus and features of the TV, I discovered that there are a few modes or settings that send the display into a locked state or a garbled appearance. Instead of trying to describe the modes that cause garbled video, I have uploaded three YouTube videos that demonstrate the behavior. I am frankly stumped about this. If you are able to possibly help, first, thank you. Also, please know I have performed basic steps such a reseating the LVDS flex cable and resetting all settings. Fortunately, I have been able to enjoy the TV as long as I don't attempt to put the device in the above mentioned modes. I've been racking my brain on this and have no idea what the problem is. It is also impossible to see what the settings are in the menus when the display is distorted so I can't make corrections without risking bricking the TV which I don't want to do.

Hello,

I have updated my home theater to version 1023.0, and now everytime I turn my TV on, it switches from D. IN to BD/DVD, causing the TV to change its source to the HT input.

I've found an earlier version, wich came with a info.txt and a upgrade.msd files in a zip.
The info.txt contains "B-FXBHTSWWC 1021.2".

So, any chance I can trick a downgrade in it?
