Sorry to bump an old thread, but I have found out, that exlink works on my h6640 tv through the audio out (headphones) jack. All you need to do is enable uart and change the rs232 mode to uart in the service menu. Now I can control my tv through rs232.

Nice find but you made one mistake. RS232 mode needs to be set to Debug :) Setting UART to ON is enough to enable FULL exlink on headphone jack :) You will see HUGE difference in a size of output :D When set to UART exlink (on ANY port) gives you ONLY basic message. Anyway once again good find.

Hello.
i just find at my uncle flat ue40eh5300, tv not working after storm,
when conect to 230v tv not working, no screen, no audio but red led blinking 2 times in loop.
i disample front housing and power board , main board, T-con boardd lokks without demages.
Can anyone tell me how to reapir or which board replace,

Hi everyone. Recently Samsung have removed many widgets from the Samsung app store (including facebook, youtube, twitter etc). I should have made a back up copy of these before they automatically got deleted. Does anyone have these (or any other cool widgets that would work on this TV model)? is there a download page of widgets available?

Good evening.

I have the UN55D6000 and trying to perform the following steps:

1. Start SmartHub
2. Go to Login (red or (A))
3. Go to Settings (blue or (D))-> Development -> Setting Server IP
4. Enter this IP:

funny thing is, that I am unable to enter any number in these field, and it is the same when entering the field in the security code to perform a reset.
I was able to perform: "Mute, 1-8-2 and power to enter the service menu to factory reset the UN55D6000 and still unable to enter either the security code or the IP as step 4 mention to do.

I'm out of idea..
it has firmware: T-GASAKUC-1034.0

Hi, does anyone know what the Panel type should be set to on this model? I have fine lines across the image and are assuming that I've not selected the correct type.
Panel type is ...All I've changed is the region setting to UK and set the tuner to auto,this was because couldn't tune any UK channels and was set to Germany.

I have rooted my TV --> Samsung 32H6270. First of all downgraded from 2880, now i have 2130.

After that, disabled both OTN in Service Menü and blocked the update sites for samsung on my router.

Followed the instruction from side 1. i have no skype installed, or the tv was rooted before.

i get no access to telnet, ssh or ftp. port 23, 3123, 22

connection refused, so the root dont work.

ähmmm, must i install after installtion samygo, skype?

After installation of SamyGO you can install Skype, if you need one. Skype will work with SamyGO.
This method was successfully tested on UE40H7000 (FW - T-MST14DEUC_2130.0).

anyone any suggestion?

Hi all

I have managed to mess up my TV while trying to get the bluetooth activated in the service menu, I started exploring all the options and have obviously screwed around with too many options and now my TV keeps restarting itself every 45 seconds even if I access the service menu the restarting still continues, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me get me TV back to normal.

Ok, in the series "do it yourself if you want it to be done", I confirm that plugging OneConnect Box of KS8000/8500/9000/9500 turns your KS7000/7500 into dual tuner model. Might be worth a <50 bucks (even less if you sell original box at the same price then ;) ) upgrade for who's interested...

Theoreticly, new firmware number has to be bigger than the current one to upgrade. So why not to download some older firmware and crack it somehow changing it's number to bigger? Then the tv would think that you are upgrading it with newer firmware. The problem might be that the downloaded firmware is encrypted, but the people who already has root and access to the tv's filesystem suppose to figure it out how the tv decrypt it and be able to do the same with the downloaded file.
Does it make sense?

first i have to say a big thanks to the devs!°
.. but i think some files are missing in my installation.
can somebody help me or kick me in the right direction to solve every task where stands "NO" in the installation routine
to switch in green / OK mode?

otn and ota also watchdog is disabled!

my insmod qca says this:

if you still have TV you could try put the firmware on USB and turn on TV maybe is searching for correct files or get from some rooted TV file with name SubMicomEU.bin or something similar and try also with this file. Could be useful or don't, I don't know, I never tried. I have this file on usb stick just for case if something happens

[J] General • UE55JS8500 - Spiteful Neighbour ruining TV veiwing via Bluetooth

Ok

So after complaining in the most polite and respectful way possible about my neighbors son who likes to turn the house into a party spot on the weekends I started getting bluetooth notifications on my tv. At first I had no idea who or what is was until I heard my neighbors son discussing his weird little campaign on the phone in the garden.

In short, roughly 4-5 times an hour my tv pops up with a connection request. It's been going on for months, since late last year to be exact. And I need to find a way for the tv to stop broadcasting a BT signal. I found the service menu and turned off every BT option there was but I'm not doing something right or I'm missing something completely.

I tried watch Lost In Space tonight and within the first episode, 3 notifications.

Help. Please help. Please.

Hi,
The reason for this is to change primary subtitle/audio language to point to Undefined language that was already done on older models for Lithuanian/Slovenian language ,but tutorial is not online on internet anymore.
1. I managed to decompress original firmware with 7zip and decrypt with sammygo patcher and get exe.img file
2. I have decompressed exe.img with 7zip and hexedit exedsp file. Everything is done in Windows , I have changed hdg,hdg,alg to my language.
3. Now I need to make new exe.img with compressing ...but I don't know how to make similiar exe.img file from patched exedsp and other files that I have already decompressed with 7zip. Maybe I should only compress with 7zip and rename from exe.7z to exe.img ? Maybe I should use linux instead of Windows to be safe, any tips for this?
4. If step 3 is Ok, next I should use sammygo patcher script to encrypt files so I can use them for firmware upgrade. I have read that in one file version or valid info I should see everthing is Ok. I don't understand if sammygo patcher is calculating this numbers or not,because exedsp is hexedited.
Will this steps make upgradable firmware or because I manipulate with exact same version firmware it will not give me to upgrade with this patch ?

I'm trying this root method on T-MST14DEUC-2130.0 TV model UE40H5570. I get the screen as in the attached photo.

I understood that I could root "from zero" with this method, but maybe that's not the case when Skype was never used?
