Hello.
Current setup: SammyTV UE40ES6300S, Firmware: 002007
Purchased: 2013 Decenber (so yeah out of warranty)
Router: TP-Link 1043ND (latest official firmware update)
The issue: As of this morning the wifi refuses to connect to the router. To be more specific it connect for a less than two minutes and then bam disconnects.
Switched from E to A - with no luck
Hard reset a few times - again no luck
At some point when searching the Wifi exits the menu.
Q: Is there a possibility that the WiFi module is overheated (and i believe at this point dying) because we mainly watched movied with HD quality (from nas), NAS and router are in the opposite corner of the room so main connection was through WiFi?

I bought a replacement board, and now the TV still doesn't works.
The board I bought as the same reference, but the BN number is different.
The new board is the BN94-03454M. This board 03454, is also used in the same TV model, LE46C650.
The stand by ligth turns on, I turn on the TV, the Samsung sound plays, but no image, no ligth... Nothing happens, but the TV is On, however is impossible to know.
I turn off the TV and the shutdown sound plays and the stand by ligth apears as normal.
Can anybody help me understanding what is the problem?

[C] Support • UE40C6700 Blinking LED after mainboard replacement

Hello all,

Shortly after the warranty time the screen of my 40-inch UE40C6700 had the funky rainbow stripes, so i reflowed the mainboard with the heatgun method, which lasted 2 months, and then i destroyed the MB by trying a second reflow in the oven. The soldering points melted, yes, but the board now is bent, most capacitors went up like popcorn and most things got reflowed all over the place. That one is destroyed.

After quite a bit of search i have found another (used) mainboard of a 46-incher, a blue one, which has the same product number BN41-01444B,
but after replacing it there's a black screen and the flashing standby light (and ticking relay) of uselessness.

Tried fixes:
- exchanged the power board with the one that came with the mainboard
- hooked up a USB with firmware
- tried an eeprom reset (the method from the wiki, for the C6200)

... but it keeps on ticking.

My suspicion is that the mainboard assumes the wrong panel, but i am fairly new to the topic.

Any idea how i can fix this with a black screen?

How exactly this can be done? There must be some NAND flash memory somewhere. It is possible to reprogram flash memory using good old LPT port from the PC? I can make some stuff with ATMEGA controller btw

7) Copy file samyext4.img to the folder SamyGO_data that was unziped on step #5.

8) Download and unzip the file from download/file.php?id=7533.

7) At this point you should have 2 folders in your computer: SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix and SamyGO_data. Copy both of them to the your USB drive formatted on step #4

8) Connect your TV to the internet using a ETHERNET cable (it does not work with wi-fi)

9) Connect the USB drive in your TV

10) Click on the Smart HUB button on your remote controller and go to "More Apps" when the screen loads

11) At this point you should see the widget "SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix". If you don't, repeat the steps 9 and 10 after restarting your TV

12) The widget will automatically start and finish the installation and will ask you to restart the TV when it finishes. Here is a picture of the process when it is done: https://goo.gl/photos/GpbWkR37pYb2M7du8

13) Reboot TV and wait 1-2 minutes.

14) Now SamyGO should auto start and the basic services telnet/ftp/etc should work just fine.
I reset my tv to factory, and nothig happened, what should i do?

Hi, I have to fix a problem on my smart tv bought 7 days ago.
I managed to enter the secret menu service, but I did not see any voice indicating wifi deactivation.
Can you disable wifi via this menu on this model?
As they are electrosensitive and do not tolerate wifi signals.

Hi,

Hoping someone might be able to help me out. I have an old HLP5085W Samsung DLP 50". The TV works fine, except for the oddest thing. I can use a Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox 1 all without issue through HDMI. However my Comcast Xfinity doesn't! The box works fine on other TVs, checked cables too. When I turn the cable box on it says "Setting up, this might take a few minutes" and then goes black. If I take the cable out the TV and put it into another TV the box is fine and TV is broadcasting! The issue seems to be that when the box is about to broadcast something between the TV and Box cause it to not go through.

Has anyone ever seen this? Is the a TV chip or something the box is looking for that the TV doesn't have?

I know that and I cannot find out how to fix it. This is because of how SDL works in that TV. The same problem is visible on power-off effect which is not fully smooth. Technically, when SDL_Flip() function is called it should replace video buffers at once. But it seems to draw new buffer slowly. I don't know if there is any solution for this.

The minor bug present in v4.4 is solved if you use ENTER button to pause the video, but is you use the PAUSE button instead, the bug is still there.
Are you sure? It works well for me, both on PAUSE and ENTER button. If there is a problem, please tell me your button sequence from turning TV on up to the occurence of this problem. I am testing it by insering USB pendrive with a movie, starting MediaPlay (by ENTER or MediaP.), selecting Movie section using arrows and ENTER, selecting a movie by arrows and ENTER, then pausing with PAUSE button during playing. Standard pause function is called, resumed by ENTER or PLAY.

Sure, consider to make copy of youtube widget and store the whole widget dir on your disk. Possible, they will simply force delete of widget without further possibility to install it. Same has happened with skype yars ago: adding it manulaly via ftp back to its place, allowed us to use it w/o any problems. Be prepared. If this does not work, then we will see...
I would also suggest making a copy of emps folder :)
