You first have to downgrade to a fw earlier than 2014 using fw 0000: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=7544
Then follow that method for rooting: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=5797
Once rooted you can use PVRdecoder: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=6511
